Heat tree example
A “heat tree” showing the difference between the collection of BV-positive samples and the BV-negative samples. Informally, branches highlighted in red show clades which are found in the BV-negative samples, and blue in the BV-positive s amples. More formally, the thickness of the branches of the tree is in proportion to the amount of mass required to go through those edges, while the color shows the direction of that movement; details can be found in the associated paper.
